[About the work]

This glass artwork was produced in the 1980s by the prestigious Swedish company Kosta Boda.
Designed by the husband-and-wife design team Ann & Göran Wärff,
Its appearance, which seems to softly envelop the light, is very impressive.

Inside the thick glass,
It's as if the light reflecting on the surface of a Nordic lake has been captured within it.
It possesses a sense of tranquility and profound transparency.

[About the designer]

Göran Wärff was born in 1933.
Born on the island of Gotland, Sweden.

From then on, he spent his life exploring the relationship between light and glass.
A stillness that softly receives the light,
He created many works that possessed profound depth.
