Released by Louis Poulsen in the 1960s,
This is a flowerpot designed by Verner Pantong.

It consists of only two opposing hemispheres,
It's a very simple shape,
It has a striking presence that leaves a lasting impression.
While possessing the freedom and lightness characteristic of Verner Panton,
When placed in a space, it doesn't become too noisy.
I think one of the charms of this light fixture is how easily it blends in.

Flowerpot is
It's a somewhat special type of lighting among Scandinavian designs.
While conveying the modern atmosphere of that time,
Even now, it doesn't feel dated.
Rather, the fact that it looks natural even when adapted to a modern space is
I can really appreciate the high level of perfection in this design.

This particular specimen is also good in terms of its slightly smaller size.
Its size makes it easy to incorporate as lighting above or in corners of a dining area.
It is elegant but not overly assertive.
It creates a pleasant rhythm within the space.
