HOLMEGAARD was founded in Denmark in 1825.
This is a glass brand with a long tradition and history, and is a purveyor to the Danish royal family.
Initially, it was a small workshop that made green bottles,
From the 1900s onward, while collaborating with highly skilled glassblowers and artists,
They have produced numerous works that represent the brand.
Its high quality and sophisticated design are highly regarded worldwide.
Some of the works are housed in museums.

This is the "Grace" table lamp, designed by Anja Kjær.
As the name suggests, it's a lamp with a clean and elegant design.
The slender glass base is striking.
It has a tall and light form,
It doesn't make you look too delicate.
It sits neatly and securely when placed down.

The appeal of this lamp is,
Without being overly assertive,
I think it's a place that quietly refines the impression of the space.
Because it's made of transparent glass, it doesn't look heavy.
It blends naturally with the surrounding furniture and wall colors.
And yet, the outlines do not become blurred.
Even in daylight, the lines on the glass remain clearly visible.
It has beauty even when it's not lit up.

While possessing a somewhat classic atmosphere,
The fact that it doesn't look too old is also a plus.
This might be the best thing about Grace.
A clean vertical balance,
Because of the transparency unique to glass,
The impression it gives when placed in a space is very light and airy.
However, it's not just light,
There was also a quiet tension,
That's where you can sense the refined elegance that's characteristic of Holmegaard.

It's not flashy, eye-catching lighting, but
I think this is the kind of lamp whose qualities become more apparent the longer you use it.
Sideboards and consoles,
It's easy to incorporate into places like the bedside,
It's the kind of thing that helps to tidy up the space just a little.
