It's shaped like a champagne glass,
It is short and has a capacity about the same as a glass for distilled spirits.

The bowl has an angel print.
It is holding a red heart and spreading its wings.
The words "KOSTA BODA SWEDEN 1742" are written around it.

There's also a small logo at the bottom.

Still in its original box,
A small booklet is also included.
There are hardly any signs that it has been used.

As an aperitif.
Just a little bit of sweet alcohol.

Kosta was founded in 1742.
This workshop was started by two officers who served in Charles XII's army.

Anders Koskull and Georg Bogislaus Staël von Holstein.
The two surnames are combined to form "KOSTA".

Starting with windowpanes and chandeliers,
In the 20th century, Boda and Åfors merged,
It became known as Kosta Boda in 1976.

The oldest in Sweden,
This glass workshop is still in operation today.
