From the "Network" series, which was created in 1978,

This is a small, bottle-shaped vase that fits in the palm of your hand.

With skin as white as frosted glass,

A fine mesh reminiscent of woven fabric

It's intricately engraved.

A single, non-mesh band runs vertically across the torso.

Light shines straight through to that spot.

The area above the neck is smooth and free of mesh.

The densely packed pattern,

A blank surface.

That contrast is what makes this small detail stand out.

As a single-flower vase,

Or you can just leave it as is.

Kosta Boda is

Centered around Kosta, which was founded in 1742,

Three glass workshops in Boda and Åfors

This brand was created through a merger in 1976.
