[About Michael Andersen & Son]

Michael Andersen & Son is a ceramics manufacturer founded in the 1880s by Jens Michael Andersen on the small Danish island of Bornholm. Jens had trained at a local pottery factory. His four sons worked at the factory, and one of them developed the iconic Persian glaze, which won a gold medal at the 1935 Brussels World's Fair. The Persian glaze was highly original, featuring mosaic-like patterns. This glaze continued to be used in many designs into the 1960s.

Most of the items in our shop have been used in ordinary households. We believe that small scratches, slight crazing in the glaze, and individual differences in color are not defects, but rather traces of the time the item has spent.
We carefully inspect each item for any chips, cracks, repair marks, or other conditions you should be aware of before using it, and we list any found on each product page. Please note that the actual color may appear slightly different depending on your monitor.

■ Returns and Exchanges
As these are vintage items, we do not accept returns due to customer preference. If there is damage not mentioned in the product description, or if the item is significantly different from the description, please contact us within 7 days of arrival.
